If you’re an aspiring inventor or entrepreneur with a great idea, one way to learn the steps to explore that idea is to get involved in a local inventors and entrepreneurs (I&E) club. The main purpose of most I&E clubs is to educate, nurture and network area inventors and entrepreneurs. People connect with and learn from peers and others in a fun, supportive environment designed to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The first “club concept” in Wisconsin was introduced 10 years ago by the Juneau County Economic Development Corporation and has been successfully deployed across the state and in other states. On May 14, 2013, a newly formed I&E Club will meet in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and all aspiring and current inventors and entrepreneurs in Fond du Lac County and in surrounding counties are invited! So how does one get inspired to even come up with a great idea? The Wall Street Journal’s Small Business Report recently published an article on April 29, 2013 about How Entrepreneurs Come up with Great Ideas. Check it out and find your inspiration!
