How to Build a Bridge!”. Thomas Sorel will speak on the necessity and value of collaboration for success in today’s world no matter the type of organization. Thomas’ perspective has been honed through his experiences with the Salt Lake Winter Olympics and the reconstruction of the I-35 bridge in Minneapolis. Thomas will focus on how we must change the culture of silos to interdependence and connectivity.

Thomas is Vice President of the Twin Cities Operations of KLJ Engineering. Prior to this position he was President and CEO of AAA Minneapolis and served as Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation from 2008-2012. He has also served on several national committees including the Transportation Research Board Executive Committee, and the Intelligent Transportation Society Board of Directors.
