City of Fond du Lac

Located at the foot of Lake Winnebago, Fond du Lac serves as the southern anchor for the Hwy 41 Corridor. The City of Fond du Lac was named as the second best waterfront town in the world by National Geographic Adventure magazine. "Lounging beachside at 215-square-mile (557-square-kilometer) Lake Winnebago is the Fond du Lac version of a day at the Hamptons. In town head to Hobbs Woods for a postwork trail run," says the feature article in the September 2007 edition of the publication.

With the added bonus of multiple business and industrial parks, a revitalized downtown and growing retail sector, Fond du Lac is one of the few communities in the country where manufacturing is thriving.
