For example, one major company relocated the operations of a Southeastern United States facility to Fond du Lac County because of the quality of the workforce it found at its existing Fond du Lac County site.

According to www.unionstats.com, 10 percent of the local private workforce is represented by unions.  Large manufacturing companies with union representation include: Mercury Marine (Brunswick Corporation), Alliance Laundry Systems, J.F. Ahern Co., and Wells Mfg. Corp.
