Excellence in Healthcare

The caliber of healthcare in Fond du Lac County is equivalent to that found in many larger metropolitan areas. Serviced by three major healthcare systems, the residents of Fond du Lac County are never far from the care they need and the comfort they deserve. Employers appreciate this level of service at costs lower than most counties of similar size.

Wisconsin as a state also ranks high in health and human services. In a state-by-state health care performance evaluation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), has designated Wisconsin as one of the “Best Performing States.” Wisconsin ranked second in key measures of health care performance. Fond du Lac area employers work together to bring the keep the cost of healthcare affordable. The Fond du Lac Area Businesses on Health (FABOH) is an employer-owned health care coalition that helps Fond du Lac area companies manage their health care costs. In existence since 1992, FABOH has approximately 76 member companies and represents over 36,000 lives and purchased an  excess of 100 million dollars of health care services annually.
